Chicago Part 1!!!

As I said in my previous post, the kids and I left for Chicago on June 11th.  We were there for 3 weeks.  My little brother, Peter, got married on the 25th.  We had so much fun.  This post is mostly going to be about stuff we did other than the wedding.  The wedding will get it's own post.  We got there about 1 1/2 weeks before everyone else so we did a lot of stuff with my parents and grandma "Nini."  My dad had a special surprise for Rob.  He took us to this place called "All Aboard Diner."  It is this restaurant that is all train themed.  If you sit at the counter, a train brings you your meal.  It is way cute and lots of fun.  We took Nate there when he got in town too.  My parents washed and stained their deck while we were there and Rob wanted to help; so he did.  Bella played with her babies a lot.  We had a play date with one of my friends from elementary/middle/high school.  I will pause here and put some pictures up, then I will continue with the rest of the trip.  *WARNING:  Lots of pictures!!!*

See how there are 5 babies in the picture?  I only packed 2; she snuck in the other 3!

We also got a chance to go to a Chicago Fire game (soccer).  The cool thing is that they were playing ReAL Salt Lake that night.  Nate was so excited to go to the game.  The kids had a good time, but Rob thought it was too loud.  Thanks to Peter for hooking us up with the tickets.

Rob didn't like the fireworks

My sister, Julie, had a baby boy at the beginning of May so of course everyone wanted to hold him.  Rob and Bella love their cousin, baby Alec.  He is quite adorable and I miss him.  Rob was my dad's little shadow the whole trip.  He followed him everywhere.  He loved playing games with him and "helping" him mow the lawn.

Just love him!
