Bella is 6 months old!

Well, our baby girl is 6 months old now. She turned 6 months on the 2nd. It's amazing how fast time goes by. She is such a great baby. She sleeps GREAT through the night. She actually sleeps better than Rob. More on that later. She eats a lot. She has been drinking 6 oz bottles for a long time now and even does 8 oz sometimes. We started her on baby food a while ago and she loves it. She still sits there while we eat and watched us intently while smacking her lips/tongue. It's really funny to watch. She loves to smile and has the cutest laugh/giggle. She likes to babble and blow spit bubbles. She loves to watch her big brother and is always smiling and laughing at him when he is close to her. Her hair is getting more and more red everyday. She has a natural curl in the back. She does this thing where she rocks from side to side while you hold her. It's funny. She wears a size 12 months clothes and size 2 shoes. She still does not roll over at all. Not even close. She does like to sit up and can sit pretty well if she is supported a little bit. She has LOTS of rolls and they are so cute. I just love them. Here are her stats:

Weight: 19 lbs 13 oz 97 percentile
Length: 27 3/4 inches 97 percentile
Head: 43 cm 64 percentile

She is a big girl but the doctor isn't too worried about her. She is growing on a consistent curve. She has a little bit of dry skin and we think she might have allergies too. We are starting her on Zyrtec to see if that helps. This was about the age we had to start Rob on it too. She is a blessing to our family and we love her lots and lots.

Waiting for the doctor.

Hi world!

Whoa!

Her shirt says smile if you think I'm cute.

She would not sit still for these pictures but we did get this good one.

P.S. Here is a little update on Rob. He is now 21 months old. We took him to the doctor the same day as Bella to get him checked out. He has had this rash for about a month now. He also does not sleep through the night. He hasn't for a long, long, long time. Turns out the rash is Eczema probably due to allergies. She is referring us to an ENT about the sleep problem. We think it started after he had his cleft palate fixed. She said we could try giving him a little Benadryl if we wanted to see if that helped. IT DID NOT! It has the opposite affect on him and he was up for hours during the nights we gave it to him. So that is the story with him. I will let you know what the ENT says. Also, he weighed in at 23 lbs 8 or 9 oz. Bella is going to outweigh him soon! Now Nate and I are just getting ready for our trip to San Antonio.

Yikes, I didn't realize that Rob was still not sleeping through the night - you must be so tired! I hope the ent dr. can help. My kids have all had eczema as babies - it must run in our family! Carter outgrew it (lots of kids do), but Macie and Ian still get it on their feet sometimes.
